Eine der Fragen in dem Interview für das slowenische Pferdemagazin war, was meine Gründe waren mit ST zu starten und wie es dann weiter ging. Hier findet ihr meine englische Antwort:
My reasons to start ST and my way towards the Instructor Program
Although the training with my own and other horses and the teaching went well, I always had the feeling that I didn’t arrived on my personal path yet and that there was so much more to learn about connection, lightness and the true art of dressage and horsemanship. That’s why I searched for an answer for several years, where I trained with different trainers and tried different methods.
When I found Marijke de Jong® and Straightness Training®, I was impressed by the beauty, softness and connection her work emanates. I immediately was sure that I wanted to dive deeper into this method. I read through all the free material I could find and then joined the ST Home Study Course®. I had finally found a program which was holistic in its training pillars – education of the horse and human in Groundwork, Longeing, Work in hand, Riding and Liberty – as well as encompassing the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual areas of the horse, the human and the relationship. Only one month later I enrolled in Marijke de Jong®’s first Straightness Training Mastery® Online Coaching Program and with this in the Straightness Training Evaluation® Program. From that day on I followed the logical thought through ST principles and started both horses from scratch again, to really improve the foundation and the basics. Marijke’s clear, motivating and inspiring way of teaching was amazing and helped me a lot to deepen the relationship with my horses and finally to find MY WAY to educate horses. In 2014 I had the amazing honor of being invited into Marijke de Jong®’s 2015 ST Instructor Program® in which I am now a Licensed ST Instructor®.
At the beginning of 2016 I was then invited into the ST Evaluator® Program in which I am now studying to become an evaluator in the ST Evaluation® Program, which is part of the ST Academy and it is an amazing tool for students to get valuable feedback on the videos that they submit. I am learning an incredible amount about the 2 mm changes in quality and am schooling my eyes to the so important 2 mm details, which can make a huge difference for the human and the horse! I’m alread licensed as an evaluator for Grade 1 Groundwork, Longeing and Work in hand. The other components will come in the coming months. I’m so happy to be a part of all of this!
